CSIR Integrated Skill Initiative Programme

CSIR-IITR, a NABL (National Accreditation Board for testing and calibration Laboratory) accredited laboratory in the field of chemical and biological testing and has received GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) compliance for toxicity and mutagenicity studies has been in the forefront in imparting training and generating skilled manpower. Provisional of CSIR-IITR with two sectoral skill councils namely, Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council (LSSSDC) and Agricultural Skill Council of India (ASCI), under National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), reflect the commitment and alignment of the Institute to the Skill India mission of Government of India. CSIR-IITR is also a partner for Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) in running the Green Skill Development Programme (GSDP) on pollution monitors. As part of this Integrated skill development, CSIR-IITR has conducted multiple training programs in the areas of Environmental Health & Safety as well as and xenobiotic residue analyses.

Fees

  • Sponsored programmes: Free of cost to the students
  • NSQF compliant courses: Rs. 5000/- to Rs. 15000/-per candidate per course
  • Workshops and other courses: Rs. 2000-5000 per candidate per course
  • Training of trainers: Rs. 25000/- (3 days) or Rs. 50000/- (5 days) per candidate

Fees may vary for Industry sponsored candidates


Evaluation of Trainees: Evaluation will be done by the assessors of National Skill Development Council, Government of India. A certificate will be issued to the candidates successfully completing the course.


Certification: The successful candidates will receive the certification from CSIR-IITR and NSDC/LSSSDC/ASCI.
