Project Assistants

There are opportunities for young, bright and enterprising candidates to join this institute in different projects at different levels (I, II, III, IV and V) depending on their qualifications and following the successful clearance of the selection process.

The institute advertises these positions (depending upon the availability of vacancies) from time to time in leading news papers and the same is also displayed on website. Necessary procedural steps, that are to be followed, are mentioned in the advertisement.

The institute recruits project assistants at five levels as per the following details:

Designation	Qualification
Project Assistant-I	B.Sc./Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
Project Assistant-II	M.Sc./B.E. or equivalent
Project Assistant-III	M.Sc./B.E. or equivalent plus two years experience or M. Pharm/M.Tech
Project Assistant-IV	Ph.D.
Project Assistant-V	Ph.D. plus 2 years relevant experience

The minimum requirement for hiring candidates for Project Assistant-II and above is 55% in qualifying examination. However, for Project Assistant-I, minimum requirement is 50% in qualifying examination. In case of SC/ST candidates, these criteria are relaxed by 5%.

Age limit for Project Assistant at level I/II/III/IV/V are 25/28/32/35/37 years respectively (relaxable for statutory groups and women as per rule)
