CSIR-IITR accepts limited number of applications from the students pursuing their Postgraduate course from reputed Universities/Colleges in any of the five major R&D areas (Environmental toxicology; Food, drug & chemical toxicology; Toxicoinformatics & Industrial Research; Regulatory toxicology and Systems toxicology & health risk assessment) of the institute.

A minimum duration of training period is three months with a maximum limit up to one year. A fee @ Rs.5000/- plus taxes per month per student is charged for the duration of six months. Beyond six months, the fee shall be charged @ Rs.2000/- plus taxes for each additional month for the remaining period.
